Hi Everyone,
It's late in August and the kids are back in school. The motorcycles are gone and we have a little break in the "season." Once September rolls around we get the experienced travelers. These are the folks with kids in college or full grown and they now have the ability to travel any time they want. And they know that fall is the best time of year to wander the hills. Most of our attractions are still open (at least until October 15th) and the crowds and kids are gone. The roar of the harleys has faded for another year. It is my favorite time to travel as well.
Before we all "hunker down" for the winter though, it's time for one more fantastic concert at The Wild Burro. Chuck Pyle, otherwise known as "The Zen Cowboy" for his philosophical and light-hearted humor, is coming back to Hot Springs for a one night performance. Chuck has written for Jerry Jeff Walker, Chris LeDieux, Trisha Yearwood and many others. With 11 CD's out, Chuck is mellow, funny and one of the best guitar players you are going to see. With a smooth voice and alternatively romantic, funny or poignant lyrics, Chuck touches the hearts of all who come to hear him. It's been a few years since Chuck has visited our area. Don't miss this concert.
